WHAT IS ISOMERS

ISOMERISM
two or two more than the organic compound same molecular formula and same molecular weight but different physical and chemical properties is called isomerism.TYPE OF ISOMERS:-it is two types:-
1)structural isomers                2)stereoisomers 1)structural isomers:- Structural isomers are molecules with the same molecular formula, but their atoms have different arrangements or bonds. TYPES OF STRUCTURAL ISOMERS:-it is six types

1)chain  isomers      2)position isomers      3)function isomers   4)metamerism   5)tautomerism  6)ring chain isomers
1)chain isomers:-
the compound which has the same molecular formula the same functional group same position function group or multiple bonds or substituent but a different arrangement of the carbon chain.
example:-
position isomers:-
the compound which have same molecular formula same  same function group same parent corbon chain but different position or f.g. or multiple bond or substituent.
ring chain isomers:-
same molecular formula but different mode of linking (open and close chain)of c- atom.
function isomers:-
same molecular formula but diffrent function group.
metamers:-
same molecular formula same polyvelent function group but different alkyl group attach to polyvelent function group (symmetry convert to assymetry)
note:-both are metamerism and position isomerism but priority is given to metamers.  2)metamerism may be position isomers or chain isomers but priority is given to metamerism. -
tautomers was introduce by larr. it is also callled as desmotropism.desmotropism mense bond turning.
tautomers have the same molecular formula but different due to the wandering nature of active H-between two-atom. condition-for carbonyl compound:-having at list one alpha H show tautomerism.note:- alpha H:-
C- atom attached to function called alpha corban. and H attached to corban is called as alpha hydrogen.
key point:-stability enol form depends on 1)resonance 2)H- bond2)more active alpha hydrogen more tautomers.
arrange the following correct of enol contain  1)CH3-CHO  2)CH3-CO-CH3
2>1 because of more alpha hydrogen more enol contain
